It would be a good idea to full-view this one, people.
I took a lot of pictures to make "panoramas" of Versailles, because both the castle and the gardens are huge. This is outside (duh), by the fountain with the turtles and whatnot, by that little farmhousey thingy (um...I never got to know what that place was called, but if you've seen last year's "Marie Antoinette" it's the place Kirsten Dunst calls her "little heaven". I think it's probably on the way to Petit Trianon, but and I never got that far, because we only had an hour and a half on the grounds.)
I have some stuff of the ceilings in the castle, but I don't know what any of the rooms are called. However, I'll put them up anyway, because the paintings are freakin' crazy. (Too bad I didn't get anything at the Louvre...probably because I didn't want to get busted and I was holding Joshie up the entire time so she wouldn't faint.)
All photos taken by SteveDave on April 1. Spliced together in Corel Photo House 5 on June 25.
i have a couple of apps that creates a real 360 image lets u adjust the variation on the exposure and the little gaps... its quite good actually, PM me
The first time I looked at this, my response was, admittedly:"Hmm... It doesn't line up!"
Then, I took a moment and, well, to be once again honest, I actually LIKE the fact that it isn't lined up. *chuckles*
Most of the panoramic pictures I've seen are perfectly stitched together and what not. This is different. And, for whatever reason, I like it. ^_^
And, as for the picture itself, it's really nice. So, all in all, nice picture and for what it is worth, at least as far as this viewer is concerned, I like the more "fragmented" scene you assembled. It's got style!

the fragmenting was accidental. I didn't like it at first because of that, but it's my fault in the end for not playing with SteveDave's (albeit few but varied) shutter speeds.
glad you like it, though.
I did put up the 360 view, but because of having to go back and forth between two pretty subpar programs, one to put the photos together and the other to crop out the empty space, it turned pretty nasty and fuzzy with the saving. even upping the resolution didn't help. I'll have to wait until I get photoshop to fix it....or I could just ask the guy that commented above you, he said he had a program or two...
